    Please tell me he didnt just put concentrate lime in that! one thing that he did get right that alot of bartenders do wrong is he only put a splash of Cranberry in, it should be a really strong tasting drink. A nice variation is to use Gran Marnier instead of Triple sec or replace it with Tequilla to make it naughty.

    Actually, when the drink was originally conceived, it did use Rose’s Lime Juice. It was apparently originally a variation on a Lime Cordial, IIRC. Although the modern version goes for a more “refreshing” interpretation, this is probably closer to the way it originally was.

    [..YouTube..] yes it is. Its originally cranberry juice with a few drops of triple sec and yiou squeeze a quarter of a fresh lime in it. You also squeeze the lime around the rum for a more sour taste when u drink it with the cranberry

Where if the bartenders were to serve a 1oz shot of a liquor/liqueur, they fill it up the jigger like 1/2 way, dump it in the glass, and pour a little bit more from the bottle, making the customer think hes getting more booze.

Plus everybody on here acts like they know the ONLY right recipe for the drink. there a ton of different ways and variations of drinks depending on the part of the world.     [..YouTube..] You can use a 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice. The original recipe used fresh lime juice, but bartenders prefer Rose’s Lime Juice for it’s convenience.
